I am currently on a UC Davis Chancellor's post-doctoral fellowship to work with Prof. Jeff Sherman in the Psychology Department. My research examines the psychological processes engaged in interracial and cross-cultural interactions. In general, I am interested in how racial and cultural group memberships influence the various stages of interaction, from categorization to impression formation to social support. My research seeks to facilitate intergroup understanding and promote positive intergroup relations.
