Teaching Experience

At UC Santa Barbara, I was the instructor of record for a small upper-division course on Social Cognition. I led advanced research methods sections (5 terms) and introductory psychology sections (4 terms). These sections had 10-30 students. In addition, I assisted with teaching courses on Social Psychology, Health Psychology, Intergroup Relations, Social Stigma, Social Cognition, Social Influence, and Close Relationships. My responsibilities included guest lecturing, one-on-one teaching in office hours, grading, and administrative duties.

As a senior at Pomona College, I assisted with teaching Introductory Psychology and Perception and Cognition. My primary responsibilities were to assist with conducting review sessions and grade papers.

I have also been fortunate to mentor talented undergraduates who have gone on to pursue graduate degrees in psychology, anthropology, human development, education, and business (see CV for more details).
