I'm a fourth year Psychology major, and I'm interested in both cognition and social psychology. I'm interested in this lab because it covers many different branches of psychology; so it's a good place for me to explore which field of psychology fits me best. I enjoy reading Harry Potter and think that the book is way better than the movie. During my free time I like hanging out with my friends, playing video games, and going out.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology while serving as a United States Navy medic. Currently, I am in the process of applying to graduate school. My ultimate goal is to obtain an MD / PhD for a career as a physician, researcher, and professor that I can dedicate to exploring ways in which the Biological, Social, and Developmental perspectives on human nature can be used to improve medical, educational, and legal practices. Besides coming to the H.E.R.D. lab, I also love children, learning, teamwork, and adventure.

I'm a junior UC Davis student who's pursuing Developmental Psychology. Working with children is my strongest passion because I'm continually inspired by their ability to absorb new knowledge. I believe children teach adults as much as (if not even more than) adults teach children, and in my current/future work I strive to maximize this mutual benefit. Psychology fascinates me because I am challenged with the opportunity to improve myself with every piece of new information I acquire. Everyday is an adventure!

I'm a fourth year undergraduate pursing a B.S. in Psychology along with a minor in Human Development. Working with kids and youth are one of the reasons why I decided to major in Psychology and after I graduate I'm interested in working with kids, whether it's counseling or teaching. The physiological and social development along with its focus on kids really interested me in joining the HERD Lab. In my free time I love hanging out with my family and friends, whether its watching TV or a movie, eating, or going out. I also love working out and doing various arts and crafts.

As a fourth year Psychology and Human Development double major at UC Davis, I am interested in many aspects of psychology. The topic that has me most interested is the general psychological and emotional development of children as they transition into adolescence and then into adulthood. This year I am applying to graduate school in hopes of obtaining a Masters or PhD in Human Development. Outside of school and research, I spend my time coaching gymnastics, playing with my kitten, and getting into shenanigans with my sorority sisters.

I am currently a fourth year Human Development major and Psychology minor with hopes of becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner sometime in the future. I have great interest in children, particularly their social and cognitive development. I believe that looking at the temperament and habits children possess are great indicators for how they will behave and interact as adults. When I am not involved in schoolwork, work, and internships, I greatly enjoy baking (cupcakes are my specialty!) feeding others with said baked goods, going on bike rides, and being with friends and family.

I am currently a third year undergraduate pursuing a degree in NPB (Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior) and a second degree in psychology with biological emphasis. I am interested in how the brain functions at different biological levels (neural, synaptic, molecular, etc.) and how the body's internal factors interact with external stimuli to result in an observed behavior. In the future, I would like to obtain an MD/PHD so I can conduct research studies in the field of neuroscience and psychopathology and apply my research to the medical field. In my spare time, I like to workout, play basketball, and play the piano as well as the drums.
