Announcement of Assistant Professor Position
July 18, 2013
UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, DAVIS
"PERSONALITY AND INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES"
The Department of Psychology at the University of California, Davis, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Personality and Individual Differences, broadly defined. The appointment will be at the Assistant Professor level. The scholarly significance and potential of a candidate’s research program in personality and individual differences is more important to us than her/his specific area of research. However, we are particularly interested in candidates whose research bridges to one or more of the other areas of the department (http://psychology.ucdavis.edu/). Candidates must have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment, an active research program, a strong commitment to quality teaching, and the potential to attract, or an established record of attracting, extramural funding. Interested applicants should submit electronically (https://recruit.ucdavis.edu/apply/JPF00086 ) a curriculum vitae, statements of research and teaching interests, representative reprints and/or preprints, and at least three letters of recommendation. The position will remain open until filled. Applications submitted by October 1st, 2013 will receive full initial consideration. For information, contact the Search Committee Chair, Dr. Richard W. Robins, at firstname.lastname@example.org. The University of California, Davis and the Department of Psychology are interested in candidates who are committed to the highest standards of scholarship and professional activities, and to the development of a campus climate that supports equality and diversity.
