As you can see from clicking here, this book is no longer in print. Worse yet, it was "remaindered" - the only book that suffered such a cruel fate. The worst of the rest at least had the decency of going out of print. Notwithstanding the book's title, the monograph was too specialized and technical for even the "educated layperson," the supposed audience even for university presses these days. Fortunately, Yale did give me the opportunity of purchasing some of the unsold copies at an "author discount." As a consequence, I am willing to send a free copy - postage on me - to anyone who so requests. I'm especially willing to send copies to graduate students in any discipline and to scholars and scientists outside US-Canada. Just send me a request by email or snail mail.
