Publications
The following list includes all published items as well as all in-press
items for which copyright forms and/or contracts have been signed.
I have excluded unpublished papers and commissioned chapters or submitted
manuscripts that have not yet received formal acceptance in writing (for
latter, see works in review). The authorship
distribution for the 356 publications is as follows: sole author on 347,
1st of 2 on 1, 1st of 3 on 1, 2nd of 2 on 5, 3rd of 3 on 1, and 5th author
of 8 on 1. Hence, over 97% of my publications are single authored - officially
qualifying me as a "lone wolf" scientist. In fact, most of my major coauthors
have been graduate students. However, almost all of my research assistants
- the number now exceeding 300 - have been undergraduates. These are named
in the acknowledgement sections of the appropriate articles (for complete
list go here).
