Objective: Applying Thurstone and Likert scale procedures

Prerequisite: Ch. 10 Attitude and Rating Scales

Assignment due by: Mon. 5/21, 8 pm (e-mail to Barbara Sommer).

Assignment: Take a look at the raw data below. These are your favorability ratings of each item (see form). You do NOT need to do any calculations. What I do want you to do is to send me (basommer@ucdavis.edu) an e-mail message with SCALE in the subject line (do NOT send it to the vlab list) answering the two questions below.

If you want to work with someone else in the section, that is OK. But let me know that I am getting a group response, telling me who is involved. It is OK to use the vlablist to ask for help -- like a discussion one might have in an actual rather than virtual lab section. I just don't want someone blurting out the answers and letting everyone else off the hook!
