Carol Harris:
carharris@ucdavis.edu       (530) 752-1882

A 30 minute appointment time is sufficient time for academic advising. Please sign up for only 1 appointment slot.

Appointments are NOT required for quick questions.  We have drop-in advising everyday, all day, except Friday mornings.  If you have a deadline you need to meet, or are stressed out, please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate you!

When to schedule an appointment:

  • Changing your major to Psychology
  • Adding Psychology or another major as a double major
  • Minor petitions to be signed if you ARE a PSC major (other majors with PSC minors may drop in)
  • Need a degree check
  • Need an academic plan
  • If you are on academic probation or have been disqualified and are working with a dean's office counselor to be readmitted and need an academic plan (green form) or have a “pass through” form
  • If you have an athletic plan form
  • If you have questions about your record that may take some time for discussion

Transfer Students

A special note for transfer students:

You should speak to an advisor early in your academic career to ensure that you have completed all appropriate transfer courses. Transfer course work will be added to your records after completion of your first quarter at UC Davis.
