I am a graduate student at the University of California, Davis where I work under the supervision of Professors Keith Widaman and Kevin Grimm.

The general focus of my research is to use the structural equation modeling (SEM) framework to study personality and affective processes. Three specific themes evolve from this general focus: (1) The application of multitrait-multimethod (MTMM) models to psychological data, (2) The use of individual-level models to characterize intraindividual variability, and (3) The study of the role personality and affective processes play in future outcomes, particularly in the Mexican culture.
