Paid Participants

Thank you for your interest in participating!

Are participants needed at this time?

Yes, we are currently recruiting participants for various research studies. We are seeking participants between the ages of 27 and 78 who are in good health. Individuals from all backgrounds and levels of education are invited to inquire about participation.

What does participation involve?

Participants are seen at the Human Memory Lab on the UC Davis campus. Volunteers take part in various types of studies, ranging from simple computer-based tasks to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies. The length and type of studies an individual is eligible to participate in is determined through a brief prescreening interview that can be completed over the phone.

How are participants compensated?

Participants are compensated at a rate of $15 per hour for their time in the lab and transportation.

I'm interested, how can I get involved?

We're glad you're considering becoming part of the cutting-edge research taking place at the Human Memory Lab! As mentioned, we have a brief prescreening procedure that can be completed over the phone; simply contact Julie at (530) 754-9439 for more information or to complete the prescreening.

If you have any questions or if you would like to further discuss becoming a paid participant at the Human Memory Lab, please contact Julie at jjorgenson@ucdavis.edu or (530) 754-9439.
