 Research Objectives

   The overarching question of my research lies in understanding the neural mechanisms of attachment. In other words, are there differences in brain functioning between individuals of different attachment styles? To my knowledge, no published studies exist on the cognitive neuroscience of attachment to directly answer these and other questions. Thus, one of the first steps in gaining a basic understanding of attachment style differences and human brain functioning is to study attachment in isolation within various cognitive domains.
