This video documents the final performance of Rodney Price—a popular San Francisco singer and dancer—two weeks before his death. Price, a White adult male, is in the final stages of AIDS and is confined to a wheelchair.

On stage he sings a wry and lively tune about his own mortality and impending death. Through his sharp sense of humor, Price provides the viewer with a strong sense of his optimism and bravery. His performance included a tap dance from the wheelchair. This video is a powerful portrait of the inexhaustibility of the human spirit, even in the face of death.

The technical quality of this video is comparable to a high-grade home video. Its simplicity does justice to its short-feature subject.
