Psychology

Course Description:
This course examines the principles of how human sensory and perceptual systems operate.  Vision is emphasized, as is the biological foundation of perception.  An attempt is made to relate the material to "real-world" situations.  Course content assumes that students have a solid foundation in research design.

Course format:     
3 Hours lecture and paper.

Topics:
Course examines a wide variety of topics in human visual and auditory processing.

Grading Policy: 
Grades are based on average of performance on 3 midterms (non-cumulative) and term paper.  Afinal exam grade may substitute for one of the midterm grades.
