COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT

Prerequisites: Psychology 1 and Psychology 41, 140, or HDE 100A or HDE 100B.

Course Description:
This course will consider theories, methods, evidence, and debates in the field of cognitive development.  Issues to be explored include: attention, memory, concepts about the physical and social world, and language development from birth through adolescence.

There will be 2 midterms and a final exam as well as a 10-page research paper.
