Career of Professor Emeritus Gregory Herek honored in special issue

The Journal of Homosexuality dedicated a special issue to celebrating the career of Emeritus Professor Gregory Herek

In his introduction to the special issue, Dr. Dominic Parrott from Georgia State University stated: "Dr. Gregory Herek is among the most influential scholars to study issues relevant to sexual minorities. He began his research career in the late 1970s and early 1980s as a graduate student at the University of California–Davis and then as postdoctoral fellow at Yale University. He held faculty appointments at both Yale University and the City University of New York before returning to UC Davis in 1989, where he retired in 2017. His career has spanned nearly 40 years and addressed some of the most fundamental constructs, questions, and social debates that relate to the health and wellbeing of sexual minorities. This special issue commemorates Greg’s career and the broad impact of his work." The special issue can be retrieved at: https://tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/00918369.2019.1601438
