Wiebke Bleidorn receives major Early Career Award

Wiebke Bleidorn won the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations Early Career Psychologist award for 2019

The EFPA Early Career Psychologist award was given to Dr. Bleidorn based on three major accomplishments: 1) A contribution with original research to the fields of social psychology, personality psychology, developmental psychology and behavior genetics. 2) The impact of research extends to highly debated questions. 3) The publication in the main journals of the field stands out as a contribution that promises a continuity of the high impact in the different areas of study.

Dr. Bleidorn is also a recipient of the SAGE Young Scholar Award from the Foundation for Personality and Social Psychology, the “Rising Star” award by the Association for Psychological Science, the American Psychological Association (APA) early career award in individual differences, the European Association of Personality Psychology early career award, and was selected to be a 2018-2019 UC Davis Chancellor’s Fellow.
