Description

Due to COVID-19, we are currently conducting lab activities from home for the safety of our students, staff, and participating families. Research Assistant responsibilities will shift during this period to focus on visual and behavioral coding, managing social media, and assisting graduate students and junior specialists with projects. A two-term commitment and 10-hour workweeks are still required. No prior experience in any of these activities is required, though applicants must be highly motivated to learn new skills. Predetermined lab meetings are held at a minimum, twice a week over Zoom.

Prerequisites (if any)

Ideal candidates are students of sophomore or junior standing that have an interest in developmental psychology, are professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.

Minimum Qualifications:

Able to commit 10 hours/week for 2 quarters minimum
Comfortable working with families and young children
3.0 GPA PREFERRED
Completion of PSC 100 (Cognitive Psychology) or PSC 140 (Developmental Psychology) for students in or above their 3rd year PREFERRED
